Biosketch

Tracy Hepburn, M.P.H., joined MPIDB as a program analyst in 2024. She conducts portfolio analyses for NICHD’s goal-setting efforts in research priorities and program areas using statistical computing software and a suite of NIH tools. She began her NICHD career in 2022 as a program analyst for DER's Population Dynamics Branch. 

Prior to coming to NICHD, Ms. Hepburn worked as a supervisory program analyst at the U.S. Census Bureau in the Decennial Census Management Division. She was the section chief for post-data collection in the Response Processing Branch during the 2020 Census as well as the product owner for the Decennial Census Data Lake. She also served as a certified pharmacy technician in the U.S. Army. She has more than 14 years of pharmacy operational and business management experience in both the public and private sectors with emphasis on health programs and system development projects. 

Ms. Hepburn received her bachelor's degree in sociology with a concentration in race and urban studies from Georgia State University and a master’s degree in public health from Walden University in 2016. During her time at Walden, she participated in the Prince George’s County Health Action Coalition HIV/Sexually Transmitted Infection Working Group, co-leading the initiative for physician awareness of Maryland House Bill 978, HIV Testing – Informed Consent and Pretest Requirements. She also holds a project management professional credential from the Project Management Institute.
