The bipartisan Children and Media Research Advancement Act, signed into law in December 2022, authorizes NIH to fund research on the short- and long-term effects of TDM use on infants, children, and adolescents.
This meeting will allow members of the scientific community and the public to come together to discuss the current state of and future directions for research on the positive and negative effects of TDM on the development and mental health outcomes of infants, children, and adolescents. The program will include individual talks and panel discussions featuring experts in TDM, early development, childhood and adolescence, and physical and mental health.
