Biosketch
Stephanie Tison, Dr.P.H., a data science and sharing specialist in ODSS, supports and advises on development and implementation of clinical informatics strategies. Her focus is on sharing extramural and intramural clinical trials data and biospecimens in alignment with the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy and in support of NICHD’s Strategic Plan 2025. Her work also supports operations and enhancements of NICHD Data and Specimen Hub (DASH).
Previously, Dr. Tison was a biostatistician on clinical trials in various therapeutic areas, including cancer and infectious disease, at a clinical research organization. Her experience includes working with data from large observational cohorts, demographic and health behavior surveys in global health, and clinical trials.
Dr. Tison received her B.S. in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma, and her M.P.H. in epidemiology and Dr.P.H. in biostatistics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
