Purpose

This event, part of the NICHD Fellowship and Career Development Series, provides information about PA-23-189: Research Supplements to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research. Potential applicants can ask NICHD staff questions during this virtual information session.

As outlined in NOT-HD-24-035:

These awards are supplements to existing, active NIH grants and are intended to enhance the diversity of the research workforce by recruiting, mentoring, and supporting high school, undergraduate and graduate/clinical students, postbaccalaureate and post Masters individuals, postdoctoral researchers (including health professionals), and investigators from diverse backgrounds, including individuals from groups that have been shown to be underrepresented in health-related research.
