Division of Intramural Population Health Research (DIPHR), NICHD

Location

6710B Rockledge Drive, Room 1425 and 1427, Bethesda, MD 20892

Purpose

In 1967, NICHD added population health as part of its intramural mission, focusing on subgroups such as children, adolescents, and pregnant women. Today, this program is called the Division of Intramural Population Health Research (DIPHR).

The 50th anniversary celebration program will focus on Population Health Across the Life Course, highlighting DIPHR’s past and current discoveries and their continual implications for population health. Speakers will discuss critical and sensitive windows of human exposure and their effects on children and future generations. The program also will include talks on emerging and novel methods for measuring exposures during these windows, and multi-level data needed to address knowledge gaps.
