Purpose
The continuing childhood obesity epidemic in the United States requires more systems approaches to understand and address obesity prevention and control. Members of the Global Obesity Prevention Center (GOPC) at Johns Hopkins University will discuss examples of their findings that have helped elucidate the biological, behavioral, social, environmental, economic, and other systems involved in childhood obesity and can lead to policies, interventions, and solutions.
