Purpose
Monika Mitra 
, Ph.D., is an associate professor at Brandeis University. Dr. Mitra will discuss disability-related disparities in pregnancy complications and birth outcomes. She also will present insights on the unmet needs and barriers to maternity care, highlighting the perspectives of women with physical disabilities as well as health care providers with experience in providing maternity care to women with physical disabilities.
This presentation is part of the Pregnancy and Perinatology Branch Speaker Series.
