Population Research Infrastructure Program (PRIP) Directors' Meeting

Purpose

This meeting is intended to enhance collaboration and communication among PRIP grantees and between PRIP grantees and other population research centers. Specific goals include:

  • Exploring possibilities for collaboration among data-sharing enclaves located at grantee institutions, and enhancing collaboration on other aspects of data access and dissemination;
  • Developing strategies to advance population health research; and
  • Discussing the potential of new technologies for data collection in order to advance population research.

This meeting may serve as a prototype for a bienniel face-to-face meeting of PRIP directors during which they can address substantive, collaborative, and administrative issues.
