The NICHD takes part in reviewing grant/project concepts during its National Advisory Child Health and Human Development (NACHHD) Council meetings.
These concepts may turn into specific research initiatives within identified areas of research that would benefit from stimulation or that demonstrate specific gaps in knowledge that should be highlighted.
