Yifan Wang, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral fellow who joined the Division of Epidemiology Statistics and Prevention Research Branch Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Branch in 2012. She received her doctorate degree in statistics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, with an emphasis on adjusting for population stratification in longitudinal quantitative trait locus identification. Her research interests focus on genome-wide association studies, functional data analysis, next generation sequencing, linkage disequilibrium, principal component analysis, linear models and regression analysis, analysis of longitudinal data, and measurement errors.
