Chandan Sastry, Ph.D., joined NICHD in 2005 as Senior Research Fellow. He currently serves as a Staff Scientist, and Head of the Unit on Computer Support Services within the Division of Intramural Research. This group supports research staff at NICHD in four key areas: clinical informatics, bioinformatics, biovisualization and web services, and core IT technology services. Chandan received his B.S. Engineering from Cornell University, and his Ph.D. Environmental Health Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health.
